i like bjork’s music and i usually really dig her aesthetics but her hair for this album is giving me all types of feelings. i don’t like how she gets to wear wigs that look like natural black woman hair and it’s aight and artsy and cool and respected but a black woman wearing their hair like this, THE HAIR THAT GROWS OUT OF THEIR HEAD, is treated like shit BECAUSE THEIR HAIR LOOKS LIKE THIS (shit, looks better in fact).  this is obviously bigger than bjork and i am mad at white privilege as a whole. 

and like, what is she doing in this gif? what interview is this from? why??????? the hand gestures, the words, the hair. it’s making me so uncomfortable because a white woman is allowed to do all of this and at the end of the day all her white fans aren’t going to hate. she’s still going to be respected and successful. she can take that wig off at the end of the day.
